Should I pick up the phone?

Mich~
It was 6.15 pm, and the phone rang. I picked up the phone, and regretted my decision in doing so. The voice on the other end was mistakeable...it was ****!!! OMG! There the person goes again....I was already feeling lethargic and drained, yet I had to listen to grouches and groans..
Do not get me wrong, I'm not trying to escape or run away from situations. But there are times when the person would not give u a chance to explain yourself or give your suggestions...he or she will want to know the answer right now...no chances given. Or the more, the situation or predicament was not entirely within my control...what could I do?
In the end, I spent close to 45 mins on the line, with no conclusion. I knew there were things being held back, and it could be causing inconveniences or problems to people. Nonetheless, if someone else doesnt understand, what else could I do?
Hopefully, things would pick up tomorrow, so that my weekend mood would not be spoiled.......
SJ: Have this strong feeling that we are talking about the same person, so I might not be the only "victim"...we can share this info during our next meetup.....

I have made the same mistake once. I was about to go off and the phone rang. I picked up and got scolding from the person for about half an hr for not knowing something. Fortunately, the expert on the issue she was asking happened to be visiting me and I got rescued. In the end, I was grossly late for my appointment. I hope we are not referring to the same person. =p
