We attended Mich friend's church wedding on Sat, and gave the newly-wed couple our blessings and wishes. The church was nice, it was a nostalgic and historic church located at the heart of the city, somewhere along Tanglin. It was like those churches that you see in the movies, and the feeling was romantic and warm. It seemed as though you were back in time to the good olden days of America. Being there, you feel away from the bustling & hectic activities, and feel at ease and at peace with yourself. I think it would be nice to come here once in a while, to feel nature, and think about the actions and words you have done and said in the past. I like this feeling....Yup, will try to upload photos once I have time...:)
Thereafter, we went to Wah Lok at Carlton hotel for dinner, as it was meant to be my birthday celebration.

Indeed, the food was sumptous (award-winning), and would melt your heart and spice up your taste buds. Simply tantalising chinese fare...

In the night, we took a tour of Vivo City for a peep of the new look and decor, but a pity that not much shops were open for business. In the end, we spent about one hour walking aimlessly around the mall, not being able to find any shop which caught our eyes. I must say it was a bit disappointing, despite the huge publicity over the new hang-out place. The mega mall itself looks huge, there is also an outdoor area for viewing of the night view of sentosa. It would be nice to just stand there, feel the breeze and catch up with your close friends.
