Da Vinci Code
Mich~
Went to catch Da Vinci Code last Saturday with my ONE..and was pretty tired and shacked after the midnight show. Actually, before I watched the show, I had very little understanding of the Dan Brown book (yes, must admit), so I was pretty apprehensive about what to expect.
I guess the main plot of the show was trying to solve the riddle which dates back to centuries ago, about a conspiracy surrounding the Priory of Sion, a secret society dating back to the days of Sir Isaac Newton...Tom Hanks and his partner...(hmmn, "Neveau" something) had to race against time to solve the puzzle before the answer is lost forever.
I guess as a non-Christian, I could not fully appreciate the meaning / messages the show was conveying. But I guess the nice architecture of Paris and London (churches, museum..) somehow made up for it. There were also hilarious moments, such as the female lead driving backwards to get away from the police...(mind u, it was in the busy streets of Paris!!)..and the character named "Silas", who was eccentric, and kept appearing out of the blue to try and kill people...and Tom Hanks' friend/foe "Leigh", who mentioned that he owned a plane!! Phew! Somehow, I felt that Tom Hanks had aged quite a bit in this show, or is it because it has been so long since I watch a movie acted by him?? I do not know if the full context of the book was being captured correctly, as I am a novice to this.....but the watch did help me to gain some insights into history....??

p.s. Decided to add a picture to my blog...getting more and more dull..
