Wedding Photo Selection
Mich~
I fell sick...sigh..again, same old problems..fever, body ache, etc..guess the "fengshui" in office must be not too good, 'cos two of my colleagues fell sick too. Perhaps with the relocation of the office layout, the "fengshui" would change, for the better (of course..hopefully). I asked the doctor, whether adding a purifier in my workstation would help in cleansing the air around me. The doctor said that if he was me, he would not spend money on something like that. Ooppss..I am not "anti-advocating" anything here, but that was what the doc told me! At the end of the day, every consumer has the right to decide how he/she wants to spend money...so the choice is yours...
Yesterday, I went for my wedding photos selection....Actually, not all the photos turn out well. That was a blessing in disguise, 'cos we could reject some of the photos and limit the number of photos to the quota in our package. I went, armed with strong will and perserverence, "psycho'g" myself not to choose more than what was required. Of course, the sales person would utilise the gift of her gab in persuading me to select more photos. She would say things like "this is once in a lifetime affair, you shd keep more photos for remembrance...etc". In the end, it wasnt me (yes!) who wavered ! It was him! Arrghh...and that weakness in will of the mind made us $500 poorer.....sob! sob!!
So what is the moral of the story: If you are not the strong-willed type of person, the trick is to ask the photographer not to take soooo many photos, because you would not be able to make up your mind when it comes to selection. The photographer would keep snapping photos, in a bid to make more $$ for his company. My advice is to tell him to take about 100 shots, so that you would select about 20-30+.
However, if you are the more generous kind, then of course paying more for the nice, glossy photos would be worth it, so it depends on your own preference...i hope so.....
